APARTMENTS

The Off-Square Apartments as the name indicates are situated just a few steps off the square downtown of Telč, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. The groundfloor of the building features a spacious lounge with a giant LED TV and a kitchenete. In total, we offer 5 fully-equipped apartments, different sizes. Each apartment is provided with a kitchenette including a cooker, fridge and standard utensils. Further, of course, LED TV and free WiFi connection. Each apartment has its own bathroom with a shower and toilet. A high chair for babies may be provided upon request. All areas of the building are non-smoking. You can parallel park in front of the building. Our guests mostly appreciate affordable prices of apartments and close proximity of the historical centre of the town with coffee shops and small stores.

The historic centre of the town, enclosed with ponds and gates, has retained its distinctive nature of Zacharias of Hradec’s times for centuries. It is an original royal water fortress founded in the 13th century at the crossroads of trade routes. Later in the 16th century, it was reconstructed together with the historic centre of the town and destined its present-day look.

The large Renaissance chateau was built by the architect B. Maggi of Arogna. Adjacent to the chateau, there is a garden with park featuring attractive layout. Inside the chateau, you will surely   be impressed by ostentatious interiors with unique decorations, period furniture and valuable collections.

In the former burgraviate, there is a museum with ethnographic collections and an exhibition dedicated to the history of the town. Apart from the chateau, the most important landmarks of Telč include a square with unique undisturbed complex of historical houses of the Renaissance and Baroque. The overwhelming majority of arcades and facades of the houses were built according to a uniform plan.
